The Noteworthy Team

Noteworthy Piano Service has a select group of skilled technicians in the Greensboro area who are available to service pianos at venues of all kinds.

Since her first piano lessons as a child, Evelyn Smith, owner, has loved the piano.
After graduating from UNC-CH, she enrolled in a piano tuning and repair program so that she could work full-time with her favorite instrument. In 1989, she passed the exams to become a Registered Piano Technician. Evelyn has also been trained by Yamaha Corporation in CA and at the Steinway and Sons factory in NY.

Always on the look out for ways to learn more about this complex instrument, Evelyn regularly attends Piano Technicians Guild conferences across the US. She is frequently invited to teach at these regional and national seminars. In 1998, Evelyn was chosen as the first female Institute Director for the Piano Technicians Guild at its national convention in Providence, RI.

Benjamin Prickett, RPT, is an impressive addition to Noteworthy. As the son of a piano teacher, he developed a strong interest in learning how to make the piano perform at its best. After working several years in the field, Ben passed the rigorous national exams to become a Registered Piano Technician. His dedication to providing the highest level of service with integrity, reliability, and humor has made him a popular choice among Noteworthy's customers.

Heather Patton, office manager, brings the best possible customer service to Noteworthy customers. Her business knowledge and friendly personality ensure that each customer receives personalized, prompt attention, and that all service records are professionally maintained.
