Meet the Noteworthy Team

Benjamin Prickett RPT

Owner, Lead Technician

As the son of a piano teacher, Benjamin Prickett developed an early appreciation for music, paired with a natural curiosity for how things work. That combination led him to a career in piano technology, where musical sensitivity and mechanical precision are equally essential.

Benjamin has been a Registered Piano Technician (RPT) since 2011 and serves the Piano Technicians Guild as a Certified Tuning Examiner. He has training includes factory training at Steinway & Sons, QRS Music Systems and has attended specialized masterclasses in voicing, regulation, and touch design, studying alongside respected technicians from around the world.

His work reflects a commitment to traditional craftsmanship, technical accuracy, and musical excellence, serving pianists, institutions, and performance venues throughout the Piedmont Triad.

Kevin Rich

Piano Technician

As a lifelong musician specializing in Guitar and Piano, Kevins’ love for musical instruments and the music they create forged his career as a piano technician. His career started in 2015 when he began an apprenticeship with Benjamin. Kevin has had the privilege of receiving continuing training with; The Piano Technicians Guild, QRS Music Technologies, Steinway Piano Gallery, as well as Evelyn Smith RPT and other expert technicians from around the world.

David Prickett

Customer Service Representative

Growing up David would often hear his father playing Chopin, Rachmaninoff, Beethoven along with Ragtime and Boogie-Woogie in the evenings. So was born a life-long love of music and especially of the piano. During his youth, piano lessons enabled him to express that love of music.  After marriage to a Triad native and resettling here, he and his wife started a computer-graphics business together – and a family!

David is a valued addition to Noteworthy -- his business acumen and many years of experience providing expert customer service has only expanded on the Noteworthy reputation of showing careful attention to customer service.
